Specialized psychological, neuropsychological, and forensic evaluations for criminal, civil, juvenile, and family courts. Dr. Shaw conducts evaluations for mitigation purposes, competency to stand trial and insanity evaluations, personal injury cases, and family law issues.
Expert testimony in a wide range of topic areas for criminal, juvenile, civil, and family court. Dr. Shaw has testified in court on issues related to the impact of trauma, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. She has also testified about issues concerning child sexual abuse; appropriate interviewing techniques; and alienation, estrangement, and abuse concerns.
